Join my wheel throwing class in my studio in Lund and find out what your hands can do. In this workshop you will learn the timeless craft of pottery the only way it can be learned, by doing it. You will discover how to centre the clay, open it, and lift it into a shape that is entirely your own. No experience needed. Beginners and intermediate level are exactly who this class is for.
I will guide you step by step, at your own pace, in a relaxed and encouraging studio. Most people are surprised by how quickly it clicks, and by how calming it is once the wheel is turning and everything else falls away.
By the end of the class you will have thrown your own set of pottery. You can then either finish the pieces yourself in a following session, or choose your glaze colour and I will glaze and fire them for you, which is included in the price. Pieces that I finish are ready for pickup at the studio 2 to 3 weeks later.

Is the class right for my level?
Yes. The classes are for beginners and for those with some experience, at intermediate level. No experience is needed. I guide you step by step, at your own pace, and adapt to where you are.
How many people are in the class?
Each class is for just 1 to 2 people. Because the class is so small, you get lots of attention: I can watch your hands, help the moment you get stuck, and adapt everything to your pace.
How long is the class and what will we make?
The class takes 3 hours. You learn to centre, open and shape clay on the wheel, and make your own set of pottery.
What does it cost and what is included?
The price is 895 kr per person. It includes high quality clay, all materials and tools, and, if you choose it, the glazing and firing of your finished pieces by me.
When do I get my finished pottery?
You have two options. You can finish your pieces yourself in a following session, which is booked and paid separately, or you can choose your glaze colour and I glaze and fire them for you, included in the price. If I do it, your pieces are ready 2 to 3 weeks after the class and you collect them at the studio.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear clothes you do not mind getting clay on. It all washes out. Bring curiosity and the willingness to make something imperfect. Everything else is here.
Is the class taught in English?
Yes, classes are in English. Most of it is hands-on anyway: I show, you try.
Can I come with a friend or partner?
Yes. Classes are for 1 to 2 people, so you can come together. Individuals, couples, friends and family are all welcome. Choose a date with 2 places left, set Guests to 2 and pay once for both of you.

The studio is in Lund, at Ladugårdsmarken 412, 225 91 Lund. You will find a map further down this page, and the address is in your booking confirmation.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is free parking on site.
How do I book and pay?

What if I cannot make it?
