Products

Every piece is handmade stoneware, thrown and glazed by hand. As a result, colour, glaze, and dimensions vary naturally from piece to piece and from the product photos — this is part of the nature of handmade ceramics, not a defect.

Most pieces are one-of-a-kind: once sold, that exact piece is no longer available. Product pages show current availability.

Prices and VAT

All prices shown include 25% Swedish VAT (moms), the standard rate for physical goods. Prices are shown in EUR, or in SEK for deliveries to Sweden. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before you pay.

Placing an order

Your order is a binding offer to buy once you complete payment at checkout. We confirm acceptance by email. If a piece becomes unavailable after you order it (for example, if two customers order the last of a one-of-a-kind piece at nearly the same time), we’ll cancel that line and refund you in full, and let you know by email.

Payment

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We accept card, Klarna, and PayPal. You are charged at the time of order.

Delivery

We currently ship to Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain.

Orders within Sweden typically ship within 4-5 days; delivery outside Sweden generally takes longer, and exact timing depends on your destination. Risk in the goods passes to you once the item is delivered to the address you provided.

Right of withdrawal and returns

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day of delivery. Full details on notifying us, returning an item, refund timing, and who pays return shipping are set out on our Return & Exchange page, which forms part of these terms.

Warranty and complaints

Consumers have statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen). If a complaint is approved, we’ll provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, refund, or reimbursement of reasonable return shipping costs. This does not cover defects, damage, or wear caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear.

For complaints, defects, or missing deliveries, contact us at julia@juliaceramics.com.

Dispute resolution

If we can’t resolve a complaint directly, EU consumers can use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Swedish consumers can also contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN).

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. This doesn’t deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of the country you live in, if more favourable to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force at the time you place an order are the ones that apply to it. The latest version is always available on this page.
